Director of Strategic Initiatives

Maureen brings experience gleaned from over twenty years of work with academic groups, associations, and corporate clients in a variety of sectors to her role at BUKSA. As Director of Strategic Initiatives, she focuses on process development, business systematization, and other programs that structure the BUKSA approach to conference and association management and support the team in achieving company goals in accordance with BUKSA’s values and core focus. Maureen also continues to provide strategic leadership for key client initiatives, projects, and conferences. Her diverse background has provided her with skills in educational program design and delivery; accreditation; organizational strategy; event oversight; financial management; facilitation; and association governance.

When not working, Maureen enjoys spending time with her family, including two young daughters, and volunteering with various community organizations and Boards. She is an avid gardener, lapsed reader, and desires to spend more time in the outdoors, including camping, biking and downhill skiing.
