Quantum Days is Canada’s leading conference for quantum science and technology, convening more than 400 professionals from academia, government, and industry. The event aims to showcase cutting-edge research, foster collaboration, and strengthen Canada’s position as a global leader in quantum innovation.
Challenges
To deliver on this vision, the conference needed to balance highly technical scientific programming with dynamic networking and industry showcase opportunities. The client faced several complexities:
- Coordinating stakeholders and partners across academia, government, and industry
- Managing technology-driven engagement tools and complex registration systems
- Recruiting, training, and managing a large volunteer team
- Designing event spaces that could accommodate a tradeshow, poster sessions, and breakout learning while complying with university regulations
- Ensuring seamless on-site logistics with university suppliers and support staff
