The Event Producer (EP) leads the planning and execution of events – efficiently, professionally, and in a manner that delights our clients. You do this by managing project teams and employing our streamlined processes and project management approach.

You are the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and proactively managing stakeholder expectations. Ultimately, you are accountable for the project delivery and performance.

This full-time position is based in Edmonton and requires a presence in-office. We offer a flexible working schedule which includes work-from-home. The role occasionally requires long hours, weekend work, and travel - as job duties and team priorities demand.

This is a full-time position. Consideration will be given to candidates wishing to work 0.8 FTE.

Project and Client Management Experience – Managing client projects and your team from end-to-end with vivacious energy, you can execute events successfully while delighting our customers. Extensive client management experience and a proven-track record of strong relationship building are a must for this role.

As well…

  • A University degree, diploma, or equivalent experience.

  • At least 5+ years of experience in event planning, customer relations, and team coordination. You’ve led a team through the strategy, planning, and execution of a large-scale event.

  • Technical competence in platforms such as Zoom, Teams, Survey Monkey, and Squarespace. Other virtual conference platforms considered an asset; excellent skills in Microsoft Office (especially Word and Excel) are a must for success in this role.

  • Experience coaching and teaching others technical and soft skills.

  • Desire for a career and not just a job; exudes professionalism and the desire to deliver excellent service every step of the way.

  • Some travel required; some evening and weekend work required.

  • Driver’s license and own vehicle required.

  • Project management experience preferred.
